Plant Hire FAQs

Insurance cover is not included in the quote. If you do not arrange your own insurance certificate, we will cover the equipment in the event of damage, adding a 12% damage wavier charged on the invoices along with applicable excess.

We can organise delivery to site – we will negotiate rates for mobilisation and demobilisation with you.

Usually, a minimum hire period of one month applies, with hour usage requirements that apply within that month. For longer hires, we can tailor your hire contract.

We can provide quotes in all of the above time units. Generally, roller hire, water cart hire and service truck hire is quoted monthly; excavator hire, loader hire, and dozer hire is quoted hourly.

Our standard payment terms are 30 days from invoice date.

All our machines are fitted with 75mm Hi Vis taping, emergency stops, battery and starter isolators, fire extinguishers, UHF radios and other mine safety requirements.

We are happy to assist in sourcing parts on your behalf and will invoice separately.

  1. Contact us at Hire@primequip.com.au explaining the machine(s) you need, size/tonnage/capacity, quality/spec, hire start date and hire duration.
  2. We will email you a formal quote.
  3. Accept the quote.
  4. We email a hire contract for you to sign.
  5. Return a signed copy of the contract to us.
